Starting today, we are beginning to form a Guiding Coalition— a team of students, staff, families, community members and myself — that will actively engage with our broader community to co-design our next strategic plan. If you are hopeful about the future and passionate about the possibilities for innovation in education, I want you to apply to be a part of this team.������

The application period to be on the Guiding Coalition will close on Wednesday, November 15, 2023, at 4:00 p.m. Applicants who are selected will be notified by Monday, November 20, 2023, and the first Coalition meeting will take place on Wednesday, November 29, 2023, from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m.��

Last month, we celebrated Bellevue High School’s 100th Anniversary — a true legacy of educational excellence at Bellevue High and for our district. As we look ahead to the next 100 years of our history, it is time for us, as a community, to dream big and design the future of education right here, right now.����

This year, we will be engaging in a design process to create a new five-year strategic plan. This plan will launch the next 100 years toward an innovative, inspiring, student-driven, community-centered and future-focused education.������
